Sync Google and Outlook Calendar Across Accounts

The cross-account calendar problem

A Google calendar and an Outlook calendar usually belong to different ecosystems. Subscribing to one from the other can be slow, incomplete, or only useful for viewing.

A cross-account sync copies events into the destination account, so the calendar people use for booking shows accurate busy time.

Google to Outlook or Outlook to Google

The right direction depends on where people book you. If work meetings are scheduled in Outlook, copy Google events into Outlook. If your scheduling links use Google, copy Outlook events into Google.

Two-way sync needs rules

Two-way calendar sync is useful, but it must avoid loops and duplicate copies. Sync Calendars tracks copied events so updates can be applied to the right destination copy.
